Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Technical Business Analyst to join their team.

The Technical Business Analyst oversees the implementation of technical business projects and solutions, carries out reviews and analysis of core Department services, processes and identifies changes that lead to business improvements. The role contributes technical and thought leadership to the development, implementation, integration and ongoing support of systems and tools to meet end user requirements. The role contributes to a high-performance team environment, provides excellent customer service and enables continual service improvement practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop requirements and scope process/systems change proposals and statements to support the Department’s business technologies, systems and tools; ensure compliance with the Department’s approved project management standards, methodologies, tools and/or systems
   
2. Create and provide relevant artefacts to manage process in a controlled and governed manner
   
3. Carry out data analysis, mappings and transformations considering accepted best business practice
   

Selection Criteria:

1. Strong technical BA experience
   
2. Hands-on write/run SQL queries
3. Proven experience in System Integration projects
   
4. Bonus if you have migration from legacy system, Oracle, data mapping and data analysis experience
