We're a boutique, heart-led Obstetrics, Midwifery & Gynaecology practice in Deakin, and we’re looking for a Receptionist who is warm, calm, and passionate about creating a space where women feel supported from the very first moment.

About the Role

Whether you’re seeking the consistency of a full-time position or the flexibility of casual hours, this is a people-focused role where kindness, calm, and care are at the heart of everything we do.

As our receptionist, you're not just answering phones or booking appointments — you're often the very first voice or face our clients encounter. You'll be the steady, friendly presence that helps each client feel relaxed, valued, and truly cared for from the very beginning of their journey with us.

What You'll Be Doing

Welcoming clients with warmth and empathy (and maybe a comforting cup of chamomile tea)

Managing appointments and practitioner schedules

Working closely with our midwives and doctors to keep each day running smoothly

Communicating with clients in person, over the phone, and via email to support their care journey

Processing payments and Medicare claims

Ensuring client records are accurate and up to date

Maintaining a calm and beautiful front-of-house space

Supporting the clinical team with admin and everyday magic

About You

You believe the client experience starts long before an appointment — with every phone call, every email, and every warm welcome. You're organised, compassionate, and thrive in environments where your work makes a meaningful difference.

You’ll bring:
✔ A genuine passion for women’s health and wellbeing
✔ A calm, friendly presence — even on the busiest days
✔ Clear, warm communication and next-level organisational skills
✔ Tech confidence — if you’ve used Gentu or similar, that’s a bonus!
✔ Experience in a medical or healthcare setting (preferred but not essential)
