There is the opportunity to work from home one day a week once you have completed training and can work independently. The Role

The Assistant Accountant role will be responsible for:

Assist with the month-end tasks, including monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assisting in preparing management reports.

Producing weekly and monthly reports, both internal and external.

Fixed assets reconciliation.

Maintain the fixed assets register and process monthly depreciation.

Work in Progress reconciliation.

Manage intercompany transactions and journals.

Bank reconciliation assistance where required.

Preparation of monthly billing.

Assist in audit tasks across the Group.

Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.

Your Background

Our client is looking to hire someone with the following background:

Currently an Assistant Accountant with some month-end reporting tasks – journals, prepayments, accruals.

Currently studying for your CA or CPA qualification.

Great communication skills and someone confident engaging with stakeholders across the business.

If you have any experience in Advertising/Media, that would be highly regarded, but it is not essential.
