Description

• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable records.
• Assist with month-end financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Profile

A successful Accounts Officer should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
