About the role

Specialist Support Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Advisor to join our growing team in Rockhampton, Queensland. As an HR Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with a range of HR services, including employee relations, policy development, and talent management.

What you'll be doing

Providing expert HR advice and guidance to our clients on all aspects of human resources

Assisting with the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Supporting employee relations and performance management processes

Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees

Maintaining compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

Delivering training and development programs to build the capabilities of our clients' teams

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive HR initiatives and projects

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar HR advisory role, preferably within a consultancy or professional services environment

Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders

Proven track record of delivering high-quality HR services and solutions

Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
