My client is seeking a intermediate and senior Waste Engineer to join a leading consultancy in Brisbane. You’ll work on diverse projects across waste management, resource recovery, landfill engineering, and sustainability-focused infrastructure.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in environmental or civil engineering who is passionate about delivering smarter, cleaner, and more efficient waste solutions for communities and industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering technical input into waste management and resource recovery projects.
• Preparing designs, feasibility studies, reports, and assessments.
• Supporting project teams on landfill, organics, and recycling infrastructure projects.
• Engaging with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Contributing to sustainability and circular economy initiatives.

About You

• A degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
• 2+ years’ experience in waste engineering, environmental consulting, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of waste facility design, landfill, or recycling systems (advantageous).
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn.
