RM2 Shopfitters is a leading architectural joinery and shopfitting company based near Adelaide CBD. We deliver high-end projects across airports, hospitality, retail, and commercial sectors. With a strong reputation for quality, precision, and service, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take charge of delivering standout joinery and fit-out projects.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role managing projects from start to finish – from reviewing drawings through to coordinating production, site installation, and handover. You’ll be the key link between clients, trades, and our team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage projects and variations using RM2’s project management system.

Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.

Coordinate workshop schedules with site installation timelines.

Act as primary client contact, providing updates and managing expectations.

Attend site meetings and liaise with builders, architects, and subcontractors.

Monitor WHS, quality, and compliance on all works.

Identify risks early and resolve challenges with practical solutions.

Oversee defect lists and ensure timely rectification.

Support a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You

Proven experience delivering joinery, shopfitting, or construction projects.

Background in cabinetmaking/joinery (advantageous).

Strong organisational and scheduling skills with the ability to juggle multiple jobs.

Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings.

Solid understanding of WHS and compliance requirements.

Leadership qualities with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.

Computer literate and confident with project management systems.

Qualifications

Trade background in cabinetmaking/joinery (preferred).

White Card + current driver’s licence (essential).

Formal project management qualifications (desirable, not essential).
