Job summary

Work from home for a not for profit (wildlife, habitat) organisation. Your role will be dispatching merchandise and adoption packs to customers and regional representative volunteers as well as maintain the storage unit. Working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday (approximately 4 - 6 hours per week). Casual basis. Must be flexible with fluctuations and additional hours as required. Best suited to someone living within 5 kms of Forrestdale with a drivers licence and appropriate vehicle to transport stock to and from the storgage facility.

About the role

Position Purpose

This role is responsible for managing all aspects of merchandise distribution and maintaining the storage unit.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Posting merchandise, adoption packs and regional representative orders

Checking emails daily for notifications of merchandise and adoption pack posting requests

Receiving boxes of merchandise and transporting it to the storage item (appropriate vehicle required)

Collecting merchandise from the storage unit for packaging and posting (appropriate vehicle required)

Attending the post office to post the merchandise and/or adoption packs.

Ensure that items are adequately packaged for postage.

Printing adoption certificates as required.

Printing and posting receipts

Printing and posting receipts or other printed items when requested.

Obtaining quotes

Obtain accurate postage quotes for postage of merchandise or books as directed by your manager, ensuring the most cost effective solution

Maintaining Storage Unit

Ensure that the storage unit is organised and clean at all times.

Stock Control

Maintaining the stock control sheets daily for accurate stock level records at all times, using google sheets.

Requesting stock replenishment via your manager as required.

Collection of merchandise deliveries.

Stocktake each financial year.

Skills and Experience

Administration experience

Experience and knowledge using Google (Mail, Docs, Drive, sheets)

Ability to record and track stock levels using Google sheets using your sound knowledge of formulas.

CRM experience.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.

Neat and legible handwriting.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Current National Police Clearance.
