Casual Front Office Receptionist
Seashells Scarborough is looking for a self-motivated casual front office receptionist to work approximately 2-4 days per week and holiday coverage.
In this position you will be responsible for reservations, guest relations and general front office duties. Experience is essential with the successful applicant showing a strong initiative and commitment to working within a team environment and providing exceptional customer service.
Minimum 1-2 years of front office or reception experience in hospitality is essential, along with strong initiative and commitment to working within a team environment and providing exceptional customer service.
Essential Skills:
Great communication skills; personal, emails & telephone
Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (RMS) preferred
Cash handling experience
Strong computer literacy - Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel,
High level organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
Flexibility: weekends and full-time availability over Dec/Jan school holidays are essential
Impeccable grooming/presentation
Problem-solving skills
Proven customer service experience in hospitality or tourism is essential, with the successful applicant showing strong initiative and commitment to working within a small team environment.
This position would suit someone with a keen interest in the hospitality industry. Applicants must have eligibility to work in Australia and be available for flexible shifts between 8 am-4 pm weekdays and 9 am-3 pm weekends/public holidays. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
