Customer Service Officer (Casual Position)

The Shire of Collie is seeking a Casual Customer Service Officer. The successful candidate will be based at the Shire of Collie Administration Building, where they’ll be the friendly first point of contact for our community.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:

Frontline Customer Support: Assisting residents and visitors at reception, by phone, and via email.

Administration: Processing payments, applications, and enquiries with accuracy and care.

Community Assistance: Guiding customers to the right information, services, or team members.

Records & Data: Maintaining up-to-date information in Council systems.

Team Contribution: Supporting colleagues across a range of administrative and customer service tasks.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring a minimum of two years’ experience in a customer-facing position, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and hands-on experience with point-of-sale systems.

An attractive hourly rate of between $31.17 and $33.78, will be offered based on skills and experience.
