Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and helping people access the support they need? The City of Melville is seeking skilled and approachable Customer Relations Officers to provide high-quality, efficient service across multiple channels.
There are currently two (2) casual positions available for immediate commencement. Suitable applicants will be placed in a recruitment pool.
Location: City of Melville Civic Centre
Salary: Level 3/4, $45.47 - $53.38 per hour (incl 25% casual loading) + 12% Super
Employment Type: Casual
What You’ll Be Doing
Engage with customers across phone, email, online, and face-to-face channels, building strong relationships and resolving queries effectively
Manage and maintain customer information in our CRM systems, ensuring accurate and timely records
Assist with developing and improving systems, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery
Contribute to a positive Safety, Health, Environment & Quality culture, supporting cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives
Handle complex and sensitive customer enquiries with professionalism, empathy, and sound problem-solving skills
What We’re Looking For
Experience in high-volume customer service or contact centre environments
Proven ability to manage complex enquiries, resolve conflicts and maintain excellent customer relationships
Strong communication, interpersonal and digital skills (including Microsoft Office)
Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and pay close attention to detail
Understanding of customer relationship management principles and knowledge management systems
