My client are after a Mainframe Security Specialist with deep expertise in RACF to join their growing team. This role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer RACF security controls, ensuring compliance and access management across z/OS environments.
  
• Develop, implement, and maintain mainframe security standards, policies, and procedures.
  
• Conduct security reviews, risk assessments, and audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  
• Partner with infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to deliver secure and reliable mainframe solutions.
  
• Support incident investigations and provide subject matter expertise in RACF and mainframe security.
  

Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience working with IBM z/OS mainframe systems.
  
• Deep technical knowledge of RACF (policies, profiles, permissions, and administration).
  
• Proven track record in mainframe security management and compliance frameworks.
  
• Familiarity with mainframe performance, monitoring, and automation tools.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
