Seismic Technician (Fixed term opportunity to 30 June 2026 with the possibility of extension.)

The Role

Provide technical expertise in establishing and maintaining telemetry systems.

Maintain a library of technical documentation including maintenance histories, manuals and equipment inventory.

Liaises with and assists in managing external providers contracted for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and support of seismic monitoring infrastructure, and ensuring all work meets departmental standards.

Provide technical support in routine passive seismic equipment maintenance, including ancillary equipment, power systems and telemetry equipment and other electronics as necessary.
