About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused person to join our team at Cass Brothers - Bathroom, Kitchen and Plumbing Supplies' in Petersham, NSW. The position is Full-time, five days a week, Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-5pm, with one rostered day off per week. Notably, the showroom is closed on Sunday's.

What you'll be doing

Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering inquiries and helping them find the right plumbing supplies for their needs

Process orders and payments accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth customer experience

Maintain organised and well-stocked product displays to create a visually appealing retail environment

Assist with restocking shelves, and ensuring product availability

Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement ways to enhance customer service and sales

Contribute to a positive and productive work culture by supporting your colleagues and proactively addressing any customer concerns

What we're looking for

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Excellent problem-solving and quick-thinking abilities to handle customer inquiries and requests efficiently

Attention to detail and numeracy skills to accurately process orders and payments

Familiarity with plumbing supplies and home improvement products is highly desirable

Minimum 1-2 years of retail or customer service experience required

Must have permanent Australian work rights for this position
