We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Safety Administration Assistant to support our Health & Safety team in preparing for an upcoming external audit. This short-term role is ideal for someone with a background or strong interest in WHS administration, documentation, or compliance who enjoys process-driven work and has excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Assist in reviewing, formatting, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety documents to ensure they meet audit and compliance requirements
• Organise and maintain accurate and accessible records for WHS policies, risk assessments, training records, and incident reports
• Support the collation and presentation of safety-related data and reports for management and auditors
• Perform document control tasks including version tracking, archiving, and template consistency across safety files
• Liaise with internal departments to gather and verify required documentation
• Assist with internal audit checklists, registers, and gap analysis reports
• Provide general administrative support to the Safety and Compliance teams as needed
