We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager for an interim 3-month temporary assignment. The successful candidate will maintain business-as-usual Health, Safety & Wellbeing operations across the organisation. You will manage incidents involving staff, support safe work practices, and ensure employees are trained, equipped, and supported in their roles.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee all Health, Safety & Wellbeing activities to maintain compliance and safe work practices;
• Coach and provide advice to managers on safety and wellbeing matters;
• Ensure employees are trained, equipped, and supported, working closely with the L&D specialist;
• Identify and manage health & safety risks across the organisation; and
• Support audits and provide reporting to the Board as required.

About you:

• Proven experience in Health & Safety management, preferably in a social, community, or front-line service environment;
• Strong knowledge of incident management and risk mitigation;
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HSW function;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; and
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment undergoing organisational change.
