Salary: $90,000 + ability to earn more based on results
What We Are Looking For
We are recruiting for a Store Manager with retail experience that wants to take the next step in their career and take on a lifestyle store which focuses on products designed to stylise houses and apartments – both inside and outside.
We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to join our, soon to open, retail operation. We want our store to be renowned for its welcoming vibe and commitment to providing an exceptional shopping experience to our varied customer base.
We want someone who is confident in what they do and can empathise, and motivate, store employees and customers alike. Experience in retail is necessary and ideally the successful candidate will have ideas born from this retail experience, with which they want to put these ideas in to practice in their own store.
What We Want Our Store Manager To Do
Do all the Store Manager usual responsibilities including:
· Oversee daily store operations including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
· Meet and exceed targets
· Drive sales growth and profitability through effective team management, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
· Manage staff rosters, recruitment, training, performance evaluations. And motivate all staff with your enthusiasm
· Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and all relevant legislation.
· Monitor store performance metrics and report to senior management.
· Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
But also:
· Have your staff motivated and wanting to come to work each day
· Give continuous feedback to staff (both positive and areas for improvement) to enable them to improve themselves and performance
· Be hands on where required with customers to show staff how to sell
· Have fun in doing your role
About You
· Previous experience in a retail management role is essential.
· Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
· Ability to motivate a team and foster a positive work environment that overflows to customers.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
· Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
