About the Role
Australia’s fastest-growing event and corporate coffee solutions company is expanding and seeking a Head of Operations Victoria. You will be driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated, with a passion for coffee and operational excellence.
You’ll bring experience in specialty coffee, recruiting, training, and developing teams, and you’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to work alongside the crew to ensure every cup and every event is delivered to an exceptional standard.
About Us
Established for 12 years, Coffee On Cue is Australia’s fastest-growing event coffee company.
We partner with our customers to provide a plug-and-play coffee solution that maximises ROI at their events — from conferences and trade shows to brand activations, corporate functions, and major events. Beyond events, we roast our own coffee (available directly via our e-commerce store), provide full-time in-house barista solutions to corporate offices, and have launched automatic office coffee solutions to cater to any team size.
Operating in both Melbourne and Sydney, Melbourne is our home base with our warehouse and headquarters located in Yarraville.
We’re a values-based organisation with a focus on sustainability and a strong technical mindset, always seeking to improve the customer journey. Over more than a decade, we’ve cultivated a solid base of loyal customers who continue to partner with us for our consistent, repeatable service.
The Role
With the continued growth of our VIC operations, this role will be responsible for leading our VIC team end-to-end — overseeing staff, resources, client satisfaction, and our in-house barista locations.
Based at our Yarraville HQ and dispatch, the role involves a high degree of mobility, spending significant time on-site at events and corporate venues across Melbourne and beyond.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Running events and managing teams to ensure exceptional service delivery

Recruiting, training, and developing staff across drivers and baristas
Building and nurturing relationships with key clients
Managing COGS and wages targets for Victoria
Delivering key reporting and project outcomes
Driving team engagement and alignment with our growth strategy
Problem-solving, spotting opportunities, and capitalising on them
You Will Have:
Minimum 4 years’ experience in specialty coffee
At least 5 years in operational hospitality management
The ability to engage, inspire, and hustle simultaneously
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent written communication skills
Advanced time management skills (Google Calendar envy encouraged)
A strong grasp of tech platforms such as Deputy, G Suite & Square (scheduling and CRM knowledge highly advantageous)
Perks:
Healthy remuneration package
Unlimited in-house coffee
Tools of the trade provided (MacBook included)
Ongoing professional development and pathway coaching
Applicants with backgrounds in specialty coffee, event operations, event management, or multi-site venue management will be highly regarded.
