An Australian owned International Freight Forwarder / Logistics Company is seeking an motivated Import and Export Seafreight Operator to join team at Mascot HQ.

• Opportunity to learn / progress into Airfreight
• Job is about 70% import operations and 30% exports

ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Client Liaison
- Process job registrations
- Book & Co-ordinate import and export cartage
- Arrange bookings with shipping lines & co-loaders
- Lodge EDNs & PRAs
- Create Bills of Lading
- Issue Arrival Notices and EDOs
- Gather commercial documents for customs clearance
- Issue Outturn Reports
- Liaise with interstate and overseas agents
- Job invoicing & closures
- Occasional warehouse work required (Cargo packing, palletising, container packing).

ABOUT YOU:
- 1+ years local experience in import / export sea freight within freight forwarding
- Cargowise1 experience
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Strong organisational skills
