The Opportunity

As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will lead clinical operations within a medium-sized residential aged care facility. You'll guide and support a dedicated team, ensuring excellence in assessments, care planning, compliance, and staff development. This role is pivotal to achieving outstanding clinical outcomes, nurturing a positive workplace culture, and creating a true sense of home for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Development - Mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering excellence in care and an engaged, supportive environment.
• Clinical Governance - Oversee care planning and clinical practices, ensuring compliance with aged care standards and best practice guidelines.
• Quality & Risk Management - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, champion risk management, and encourage professional growth across the team.
• Resident Advocacy - Promote dignity, choice, and individual preferences, ensuring care remains personal, respectful, and responsive.
• Compliance & Accountability - Uphold all regulatory, accreditation, and governance requirements to deliver safe, high-quality care.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration with strong clinical experience in aged care or related settings.
• 2+ years management experience within residential aged care.
• Proven success in leading and developing high-performing clinical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of aged care accreditation standards, compliance, and governance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be currently based in Australia with full working rights.
