A key role of a House Supervisor is to manage the day-to-day running of a house where our participants live; you will manage their supports and support worker team.

This is permanent full-time position; 38 hours a week. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7.30am-3pm. Hours on the weekends may be available. The House Supervisor role encompasses both administrative tasks and supporting the participant in their home.

The positions we have available require prior experience in managing people, report writing and the ability to manage a broad range of daily responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, be tech savvy, and can manage a high performing, participant centred team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team and support our participants living with a disability to live independently in their own home. Our participants live in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment. This role will have a large degree of ownership for a range of tasks as well as being part of a broader care team which will ensure positive outcomes for our participants.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with participants who have complex needs and behaviours. You will feel confident in leading a team of support workers to support them to understand the participants needs, as well as implementing strategies as recommended by the care team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team to achieve positive outcomes for participants who reside in their own homes

Work collaboratively with families, allied health professionals and care team members

Coordinate a range of day-to-day tasks including compliance, medication management, weekly reporting and general house duties

Ensuring services are consistent with the VPS values including all relevant policies and procedures

Victorian Working with Children Check
