What We are Looking for

A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Disability, Aged Care or Community Services

Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of disabilities

Current first aid and CPR certification

NDIS Workers Screening Check

Working with Children Check

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families

A genuine passion for empowering individuals with disabilities and a commitment to their wellbeing

Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle the diverse needs of clients

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

Personal Care Support – Assist participants with daily living activities including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene.

Medication Assistance – Support with safe administration of medications as per care plans and guidelines.

Meal Preparation & Assistance – Help with planning, preparing, and serving meals, while respecting dietary needs and preferences.

Community Access – Accompany participants to appointments, recreational activities, shopping, and social outings to encourage independence and community participation.

Transport & Mobility Support – Provide safe transport and mobility assistance, ensuring participants can access services and activities.

Emotional & Social Support – Build positive relationships, provide companionship, and promote inclusion and wellbeing in both home and community settings.
