We're seeking a Team Leader - Paving Works

As the major paving manufacturer and contractor to Local Government, home builders, retail and civil sectors in South Australia our Landscaping and Services division has seen substantial and consistent growth.

Best is seeking a Team Leader for our paving and civil services division.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced pavor, landscaper or civil worker to move into a supervisory role. We would also be able to assist with further training and support for a Building Supervisor's license. You would have experience in hard & soft-landscaping, civil and or building works.

You will provide on-site coordination and leadership to ensure the efficient completion of paving and landscape works to plans and specifications.

You will work with our Project Managers, who will provide guidance and training to assist you in your role.

Duties include the following:

Overseeing subcontractors as needed for tasks such as earthmoving, concreting, paving irrigation and repair work

Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed on site

Coordinating with other team members to schedule work activities and track progress

Maintaining records of work performed on each project including expenses and materials used

Clean work areas, tools or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site

Perform site clean-up and restoration

Assist equipment operators and other skilled labor when necessary

Success Requirements:

Experience in paving, landscaping or civil works

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in paving, landscaping or civil works is required

Excellent attention to detail

Strong time management and organisational skills

Ability to prioritise and multi task

Sound knowledge of building products and industry requirements

Working knowledge of building products and industry requirements is essential
