Your role
As an Intelligence Analyst (Geospatial) in the Air Force, you’ll play an important role collecting imagery and geospatial information in support of exercises, operations, and missions. You’ll use cutting-edge technology to collect, analyse and distribute imagery and terrain intelligence.
Your duties may include:
maintaining imagery libraries
working with aircrew and Air Intelligence Officers in reconnaissance and strike mission planning
presenting briefs, preparing visual aids, and generating weaponeering solutions and targeting information
maintaining intelligence databases
interpreting and analysing all forms of imagery to produce geospatial and imagery-related reports
producing tailored intelligence products in support of a broad range of ADF maritime, land and air operations
managing intelligence materials and resources.

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $92,593.
Location
Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.
Eligibility
For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have passed Year 10 English and Maths. If you are not an Australian Citizen please visit the ADF Careers Eligibility Page to confirm you meet the requirements for a career in the ADF.
