About the role

Kingsford Lawyers' is seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Solicitor to join our dynamic, fun and fast paced team in Ashmore, Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will play a pivotal part in providing specialist legal advice and representation to our clients navigating complex family law matters.

What you'll be doing

Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, property settlements, child custody and maintenance

Deliver tailored legal strategies and advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected

Represent clients in court, negotiations and mediations

Conduct legal research, draft agreements and other documentation

Mentor and guide junior members of the family law team

Collaborate with the wider legal team to achieve the best outcomes for clients

What we're looking for

4+ years' post-qualification experience in family law

Excellent knowledge of family law legislation, case law and regulations

Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with experience representing clients in court where needed and when counsel is not briefed

Ability to provide clear, empathetic and commercially-minded advice to clients

Effective time management and organisation skills to manage a varied caseload

Collaborative approach and commitment to mentoring junior team members
