About the role

This is a full-time Cook role with Wok Monkey Chinese Takeaway, based in Dayton WA 6055. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality food and assisting with the efficient operation inside our asian style kitchen to deliver an exceptional takeout experience for our customers.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes from our diverse menu to our high standards

Ensuring all food preparation and cooking is carried out in a safe and hygienic manner

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

Show good team communication & management skills and contributing to a positive team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar food preparation role

Minimum 1-2 years of cooking experience is required for this position

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

A passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment (especially during service)

Relevant food safety certifications (desirable)

Wanting stable and long-term work

Commercial kitchen experience is preferred for this role
