Logistics Specialist – Domestic & International Freight Coordination

ROLE/DESCRIPTION

As the Logistics Specialist, you will:

Provide transportation quotations for domestic and international shipments (air, ocean, truck)

Coordinate proof of delivery documentation and maintain quarter-end delivery reports

Communicate customer consolidation and delivery requirements to analysts and carriers

Monitor warehouse and carrier shipping performance

Source freight carrier quotations and manage bookings

Prepare and update SOPs and standard work documentation

Conduct quarterly carrier reviews and identify improvement opportunities

Troubleshoot transportation and delivery issues

Manage shipment paperwork for returns, trade-ins, donations, and vendor drops

Assist in evaluating transportation suppliers and support special logistics projects

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in logistics or freight coordination

Proven experience working within 3PL logistics environments

Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

Strong understanding of incoterms and international freight practices

Proficiency in MS Office and basic IT systems

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently with a positive attitude

Flexible scheduling to meet customer needs

Experience implementing cost-effective freight solutions
