Job Title: SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant

Are you an experienced SAP Payroll professional with full end-to-end implementation expertise? We’re looking for a talented SAP Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our client’s team in Melbourne on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex SAP Payroll projects, engaging directly with stakeholders and driving solutions from design through to go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle SAP Payroll implementations, from blueprinting and requirements gathering through to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Conduct workshops with clients to capture and document business requirements and design fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Configure SAP Payroll solutions, ensuring documentation, testing, and quality assurance standards are met.
• Support clients throughout testing phases including UAT, parallel testing, and payroll reconciliations.
• Manage data cleansing, mapping, and conversion activities, ensuring smooth transition into production.
• Proactively identify and escalate risks, scope changes, or project issues to ensure delivery success.
• Stay up to date with SAP product developments and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Mentor and support junior consultants, providing guidance and training to enhance team capability.

Skills & Experience

• 2–5 years’ experience in SAP Payroll, with proven full end-to-end implementation project experience.
• Strong functional knowledge of Payroll processes and integration with HR and Time Management systems.
• Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP or similar).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Previous experience in a lead consultant or project role highly regarded.
