Description
We are seeking a Senior Payroll Manager who can lead with strategic insight while remaining hands-on and detail-oriented. This role will be instrumental in shaping the payroll function during a period of transformation, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end payroll function across multiple sites and complex award structures.
- Drive strategic initiatives to modernise payroll systems and processes.
- Ensure full compliance with Australian payroll legislation and enterprise agreements.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to deliver integrated solutions and reporting.
- Provide expert advice on legislative changes and risk mitigation.
- Mentor and develop a small but capable payroll team.
Profile
You are a seasoned payroll professional who thrives in complex environments. You bring a strategic mindset but are equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You understand the importance of compliance and accuracy, and you're passionate about building efficient, people-focused payroll operations.
You will bring:
- Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with system upgrades or implementations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving.
Job Offer
