This company is a well‑established residential home builder operating throughout regional New South Wales. With decades of experience and a strong reputation for craftsmanship, we deliver quality, move‑in ready homes — complete with inclusions, landscaping, and finishing touches.

They build both in-house designs and custom builds, and pride themselves on their attention to detail and their commitment to managing the full build journey.

As Site Supervisor, you will take ownership of the on‑site delivery of up to 10 homes across the Armidale region. You will lead the daily operations of each site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, within quality standards, and in alignment with their design and inclusions commitments. You’ll act as the primary liaison between subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all trades and subcontractors across multiple sites, ensuring efficient sequencing, trade coordination, and consistent progress monitoring
  • Monitor quality control, ensuring works comply with plans, specifications, and company inclusions
  • Manage site safety and WHS compliance (site inductions, toolbox talks, hazard identification)
  • Coordinate with procurement, estimators, and design teams to ensure material deliveries align with site needs
  • Manage site documentation and reports (daily diaries, progress photos, subcontractor reports)
  • Track schedule milestones and escalate delays or risks to senior management
  • Mentor and guide site staff (including apprentices or junior supervisors)

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or Leading Hand.
  • Capability to schedule trades
  • Strong technical knowledge of building methods, residential standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Problem solver with ability to respond to issues proactively
  • Competent in reading plans, specifications, and managing quality assurance
  • Sound organisational skills, time management, and ability to prioritise
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
  • A commitment to safety, workplace compliance, and delivering high quality finishes

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary + vehicle
  • Opportunity to lead and influence the success of a regional building program
  • Work within a builder committed to quality, reputation, and long-term client relationships
  • A supportive culture, working alongside experienced construction and management teams
  • Consistent, stable and ongoing work
