About the Role
We currently have a vacancy for a full time Sales and Customer Service Representative to join our existing team. You must be available to work several week ends a year , often at a baby expo. You must enjoy travelling.
Your daily duties would include but not be limited to:
Sales & Customer Enquiries
Confidently assist customers in the showroom, over the phone, online and at trade events with enquiries and purchases.
Customer Support & Issue Resolution
Handle and resolve product complaints professionally, both in person and in writing, with ease.
Manage challenging customer situations with patience and respect, ensuring timely and clear communication, without becoming overwhelmed.
Order Processing & Management
Pick and process online and in-store orders.
Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders.
Book orders for dispatch.
Liaise with freight companies to confirm shipping rates, arrange deliveries and resolve delays and damages.
Office Administration
Manage emails, filing, and customer records effeciently.
Maintain a clean and well organized office and showroom environment.
About You
Our ideal applicant would be looking for a position that gives them long term growth and stability. Along with a strong work ethic and at least 3 years working experience in a business environment.
You'd have/be:
Full Australian working rights or permanent residency is essential.
Proven sales experience, with the ability to confidently sell products to customers.
Strong communication skills, particularly in handling customer complaints via email and over the phone.
Proficiency in relevant software such as CIN7 and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Basic numeracy skills and a good understanding of office systems and procedures.
Strong and fit mentally and physically to undertake the role with ease.
Punctual and reliable to attend work on time, and have access to/own a reliable form of transport.
Attentive to details and able to follow instructions without reminders, confidently.
Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Able to work unsupervised but still have very good skills to work in a team environment and communicate with co workers respectfully and clearly.
Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Reliable, honest, and detail-oriented.
Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
Presentable, motivated, and proactive.
