The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened for a People & Capability Manager to join the team, reporting to the energised and inspiring Chief Operating Officer.
This is a pivotal position in supporting both the corporate and asset teams, ensuring people practices scale effectively as the business continues its rapid expansion.
You will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, providing guidance across all aspects of HR while also driving initiatives that strengthen culture, capability, and employee experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all People & Capability queries across the business.
- Providing expert advice to managers on HR policies, employee relations, and performance matters.
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and the employee lifecycle, with a focus on property management and operations roles.
- Supporting the implementation of people systems and tools.
- Leading key projects including the “Great Place to Work” survey, onboarding improvements, and scaling people practices as new sites launch.
- Contributing to sustainability, B Corp certification, and community impact initiatives.
This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in shaping the people agenda of a business that is redefining the property landscape while staying true to its values of sustainability, community, and impact.
About You
- 5+ years’ HR generalist experience across the employee lifecycle.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner with senior leaders.
- Experience advising on performance management and employee relations matters.
- Proven capability to manage projects and improve people systems and processes.
- A values-driven approach with genuine interest in ESG, sustainability, and purpose-led business.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth environment.
- Comfortable being in the vibrant and collaborative office full time (5 days) during probation, moving to four days a week afterwards. Based in Kensington, with a planned relocation to the CBD in early 2026.
