Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and organised Student Support Administration Officer to join our team at the Wollongong campus. This role is essential in providing administrative support to students, ensuring a smooth and positive student experience. The successful candidate will work closely with the student services team, academic staff, and other stakeholders to assist in managing student inquiries, providing guidance, and maintaining student records.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for student inquiries.

Provide accurate information and support to students regarding enrolment, course information, timetables, and college services.

Assist with student orientation programs, including preparation of materials and coordination of events.

Manage and update student records in the college’s database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Support the coordination of student events, workshops, and other campus activities.

Liaise with academic staff and other departments to resolve student issues and ensure a seamless experience.

Assist in processing applications, enrolments, and course changes.

Provide administrative support for examinations and assessments, including scheduling and communication with students.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college policies and procedures to provide informed guidance to students.

Contribute to a positive campus environment by engaging with students and addressing their needs proactively.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within an educational environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with student management systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine interest in helping students succeed.

High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Experience using a Student Management System (RTO Manager)

Working Hours: 9 am to 5:30 pm (Mon-Wed)
