Village Manager – Joseph Banks Retirement Village / Head Office Support & Administration

Pay - $41.00 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Village Manager to oversee daily operations at Joseph Banks Retirement Village in Canning Vale. This is a part-time position (30 hours/week across 4 days), ideal for someone looking to combine leadership, administration, and community service in a rewarding environment.
In addition to managing the village, you will also provide general administrative support to our Head Office (Salter Point), contributing to smooth operations across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Community & Resident Engagement
Foster a warm, inclusive, and engaged village atmosphere.
Be the primary point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors.
Collaborate with the Residents' Committee and attend regular meetings.
Develop and coordinate social programs, activities, and events.
Support resident wellbeing by addressing concerns with empathy and discretion.
Property & Facilities Management
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the village.
Coordinate routine and emergency maintenance with contractors.
Manage work orders and assist with unit refurbishments.
Ensure compliance with OH&S standards and emergency procedures.
Financial & Administrative Support
Assist with budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
Process invoices and manage contractor agreements.
Provide administrative support to the Head Office team as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience in customer service, community or property management.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional organisational and time-management capabilities.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple responsibilities.
Valid driver’s licence and current National Police Clearance.
Highly Desirable:
Experience in retirement living, aged care, or strata/property management.
Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act and relevant regulations.
Familiarity with meeting procedures and financial reporting.
