As a Library Officer – Programs and Engagement, you will use your skills to deliver high-quality programs and services while providing exceptional support to all visitors of the City of Prospect Library, contributing to our vision of the library as a welcoming, inclusive 'third place' for the community.
So, what's the role?
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the City of Prospects Library, delivering bespoke learning and engagement opportunities that respond to community interests and support skill development. You’ll be delivering small events such as author talks and workshops within Prospect Library, curate and maintain a digital program offering and support customers ensuring the library continues to be a welcoming place for the community.
Here's what you’ll dive into:
Coordinate and curate programs, services and activities for adult learning, skill building and engagement.
Develop and deliver small scale events within the library
Maintain the digital program offering, broadening access and engagement
Actively promote library services, activities, and programs to the Prospect community
Supervise volunteers and liaise with contractors to ensure high quality program outcomes
Respond to customer queries and assist customers to access library services in relation to facilities, collections and equipment.
Assist customers to access technology resources including Internet, library catalogue, digital collections, wireless internet and other resources as required.
