Position Description - Community Engagement Officer

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Team Leader, Community Engagement, you will:

Implement community engagement strategies, activities and initiatives that encourage genuine and meaningful involvement from our community.

Provide expert advice to internal teams on best practice engagement.

Develop creative online and offline engagement tools and information.

Analyse and interpret community feedback and prepare clear, accessible outcome reports.

Support projects that deliver wellbeing outcomes by ensuring our community has opportunities to have their say on matters that affect them.

About you

The successful candidate will have:

South Australian Class C Driver's Licence.

Hold and maintain a valid DHS Working with Children Check.

International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) Certificate of Engagement (or willingness to obtain).

Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment and police check.

Salary range is between $91,908 to $98,028 plus superannuation guarantee and will be negotiated commensurate with skills, experience and qualifications.
