As a Library Officer – Customer Experience, you will use your skills to provide exceptional service and support to all visitors of the City of Prospect Library, contributing to our vision of the library as a welcoming, inclusive 'third place' for the community.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the City of Prospects Library, delivering a positive customer experience to all community members. You’ll be the friendly face at the front desk, helping coordinate daily operations, supporting casual staff and volunteers, and ensuring every visitor feels welcome and supported.

Here's what you’ll dive into:

Coordinate the provision of high-quality customer service to all library users, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive experience.

Provide day-to-day guidance and support to casual staff, volunteers, work experience, and placement students working on the library desk.

Actively promote library services, activities, and programs to the Prospect community.

Respond to customer queries and assist customers to access library services in relation to facilities, collections and equipment.

Assist customers to access technology resources including Internet, library catalogue, digital collections, wireless internet and other resources as required.
