Administration Officer – Part Time (3–4 Days)
About Us
Established in 1946, Northway Plumbing and Projects has been proudly serving Adelaide and surrounding areas for generations. Located in Panorama, we’re a trusted name in plumbing maintenance with specialties in leak detection and insurance reporting. We’re now looking for an organised and motivated Administration Officer to support our growing team.
The Opportunity
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients and play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly. From scheduling jobs and liaising with clients to handling invoices and record keeping, your contribution will directly support our plumbers in the field and our management team in the office.

Role Responsibilities
• Answer calls and emails in a professional and timely manner
• Schedule jobs and coordinate plumbers and apprentices
• Liaise with clients, property managers, and councils to confirm work details
• Prepare and process quotes, invoices, and purchase orders
• Keep job records and office systems up to date (using Simpro)
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable and general office tasks
• Support management and the plumbing team as required
Required Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in administration is essential, and experience in the trade or construction industry will be highly regarded.
Essential Skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confident using computers and job management software (Simpro experience preferred)
• Organised and able to manage competing priorities
• Attention to detail with paperwork and record keeping
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills
• Experience in administration within a plumbing, trade, or construction business
• Familiarity with invoicing and accounts support
Role Details
• Part time: 3–4 days per week
• Based at our Panorama office
• Reports to Office Manager / General Manager
