Employment Type: Part-time; up to 30 hours per week
North Coast Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health (NCACCH), now trading as Manngoor Dja Aboriginal Health Services, is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) committed to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie regions.
We are currently seeking a Scheduling & Rostering Officer to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our community.
About the Role
The NCACCH Scheduling & Rostering Officer – Aged Care is responsible for managing a proficient and timely allocation of scheduling of services and rostering of resources to meet the needs of local Elders, older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their families across all aged care service delivery areas. This role will work closely with the Aged Care Team to assist clients to ensure aged care service requests are provided in alignment with the individual care plan. This role also supports the maintenance of service partnerships, both internally and externally, while supporting continuity of care across the service continuum which aims to meet and/or exceed the individualised needs of clients and their families.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Has experience working Aged Care, Disability and/or Community environment
Has experience scheduling or rostering, ideally within the Aged Care sector
Has knowledge and understanding of SCHADS Award
A qualification in Aged Care, Community Development, or related field and/or experience highly regarded
Can work with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
Is committed to teamwork and building strong community relationships
