Gunabul Homestead is an all-abilities golf course and event space based in Gympie, Queensland, with a strong focus on inclusion, respect and community. We offer event spaces, cafe, bar, acommodation, pro shop, driving range and our beautifully maintained 18-hole par 3 golf course. The Opportunity
We're looking for a hands-on, experienced Events Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of events - from weddings and corporate functions to community celebrations and gala balls.
Reporting directly to our Homestead Manager, you will work alongside our passionate team including our Head Cook and Golf Director, to bring each client's vision to life, ensuring every event runs smoothly and exceeds expectations, no matter how big or small. this is a great opportunity for someone with hospitality or venue experience who thrives in a fast-paced, community-focused environment
Key Responsibilities
Respond to all event enquiries and coordinate bookings from start to finish.
Liaise between clients, Hospitality Manager and Head Cook regarding meal plans, layouts and run sheets.
Coordinate set-up and pack down of events including maintaining an up-to-date event stock list and organised event storage space.
Be on-site for large or high-profile events as needed to coordinate vendors, run sheet etc.
Prepare event documentation and ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
Deliver exceptional customer service and client experiences.
Collaborate with Homestead, Hospitality and Administration teams to ensure seamless delivery
About You
Experience coordinating weddings, functions or venue-based events.
Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Comfortable being hands-on and flexible on event days.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, POS systems and general administration.
Barista and RSA experience highly regarded.
Positive, calm and respectful to colleagues and customers - we operate as a Team and highly value collaborative, kind, solution-focussed communication.
A great sense of humour and "can-do" energy.
