Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute climate risk assurance reviews, including assessment of systems, data integrity, scenario analysis, and financed emissions.
• Ensure timely delivery of audit engagements within budget, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Align audit activities to internal and external climate risk developments, including emerging regulations.
• Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and resource allocation based on business risk profiles.
• Build strong, constructive relationships with senior stakeholders across Risk, Compliance, and Finance functions.
• Drive understanding of climate-related risks across IA and the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Extensive experience in risk management frameworks, operational risk, compliance, and delivery risk.
• Proven track record leading complex audits or risk projects, preferably in Sustainability/ESG and Financial Services
• Strong understanding of climate risk, regulatory obligations, and banking/finance industry practices.
• Expertise in risk and control analysis across complex business processes.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive innovative assurance practices.
