Reporting to an Audit Manager, the Senior Consultant will take responsibility for undertaking internal audit and risk management reviews across a diverse client portfolio. You will play an integral role within an audit team, providing supervision and guidance to junior staff while ensuring high-quality delivery of allocated engagements. This includes planning, execution of audit work, delegating tasks, and preparing completed audit files and reports for manager review.

In addition to audit delivery, you will actively contribute to the growth of the practice by supporting business development activities, including preparing tenders and proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and complete internal audit and risk management engagements.

Supervise and mentor junior staff members, ensuring effective delegation and quality outcomes.

Prepare comprehensive audit files and draft reports for manager review.

Work closely with managers to identify growth opportunities, assisting with business development and tender preparation.

Maintain strong client relationships by presenting solutions in a clear and professional manner.

About You

Experienced internal auditor with a proven background in professional services or a large corporate environment.

Strong knowledge of modern audit tools, risk frameworks, and methodologies.

Demonstrated analytical, audit, and risk assessment skills.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings confidently.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership of allocated engagements, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
