About the role

The purpose of the position is to contribute to patient care in Redcliffe Hospital by providing advanced clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of a pharmacist.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide a defined range of pharmacy services for patients with complex conditions under the delegation and guidance of a pharmacist.
• Provide education to patients on the use of a defined range of medications, medication aids and devices under the guidance of a pharmacist.
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, in a non-clinical capacity, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist conforming to current legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Refer to and liaise with health care providers within the immediate team as well as community health providers such as community pharmacists, residential care facility staff and general practitioners, under the delegation of a pharmacist.
