We are a well-established and reputable CPA practice based in the western suburbs, providing a full range of accounting and taxation services to our diverse client base spread throughout metropolitan Melbourne.

Due to strong growth in the business, our firm is seeking an Accountant to join the team.

The role includes:

Working together with the partners and other team members in providing tax advice to clients, including attendance to client meetings where required;

Client relationship management, including regularly liaising with clients to provide in-depth accounting and taxation advice;

Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns for self-managed superfunds, companies, trusts and partnerships;

Preparation of BAS for clients

Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax

Preparation of interim management accounts for some clients;

Review of financial accounts prepared by junior staff as well as mentoring

The ideal candidate will have the following:

1 - 3 years’ accounting experience

Degree qualified

CA/CPA (or willing to obtain)

Experienced in using Access Handisoft (preferable, but not essential)

Experience with MYOB and Xero cloud-based packages (preferable, but not essential)

Strong work ethic

A positive and professional attitude

$75k – 80k + super
