What we are looking for:

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting (or equivalent)

One year plus experience in Public Practice

Looking to become CA/CPA qualified

Xero software experience/certification preferred

Skills and Abilities

Effective communication skills

Able to work within a collaborative environment

Efficient time management

Strong work ethic and goal focus

Attention to detail

Willingness to learn

Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word

What you will be doing:

Accounting

Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals

Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalments Activity Statements

Contributing to Tax Planning and Tax/Business Advice

Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory authorities

Dedication to building your technical knowledge and experience

Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping and reconciliations in Xero

Management of Fixed Assets

Payroll processing in Xero

Processing of payroll obligations, including super, PAYGW, payroll tax
