About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working closely with clients, and is passionate about helping businesses succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements

• Preparing cashbooks, balance sheet reconciliations and workpapers

• Assisting in preparing Income Tax Returns and Financial Accounts for a range of clients, including individuals, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs and companies

• Liaising with the ATO on various taxation issues as they arise

• Scanning of client documents & workpapers into AO document management & cloud-based filing systems

• Publishing of all correspondence, financial reports, and tax returns to client portal

• Other ad hoc tasks as requested by management

• Develop and manage client corporate structures and financial wealth models

• Developing and managing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly management & KPI client reporting

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in public practice or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive, problem-solving mindset and a client-first attitude.
