We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our New Haven Farm Home Team on a casual basis. Flexibility is key and vital to being successful in this position.

We also have a small number of 4hr support shifts that need filling from time to time.

Depending on the shift you work the duties can vary. Duties include:

Driving the clients to activities or appointments.

Assisting the clients with cooking and cleaning and general house maintenance.

Assisting the clients with personal care such a showering, toileting and dressing.

Assisting the clients with their medications.

Supporting the clients with behaviours.

Spending time with the clients completing meaningful activities that are going to improve on their individual skills.

Administrational duties, scanning and renaming documents.

Flexibility with site locations based in Freemans Reach and Richmond.

The ideal candidates should have the following experience and attributes to be successful in this position:

Experience in aged care or disability is ideal.

Having a vested interest in disability is a must.

You MUST be a team player, flexible, reliable and good communication skills.

You will be required to obtain CPR, First Aid, WWCC, NDIS Workers Check and some internal training courses as part of your induction.

You must have a NSW Drivers Licence and, you must be confident to drive outside of the Hawkesbury area including driving to the city/blue mountains.
