Network Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Fortinet Network Detection and Response (NDR) and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), with a proven background in the telco industry. This is a hands on role focused on designing, implementing, and managing advanced security solutions to protect our critical infrastructure and data assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of Fortinet NDR solutions to enhance our threat detection and response capabilities.
  
• Manage and improve Cisco ISE for network access control and policy enforcement across the enterprise.
  
• Design and maintain robust security architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and segmentation strategies for LAN and WAN environments.
  
• Conduct in depth threat analysis, lead incident response efforts, and perform forensic investigations.
  
• Develop and maintain technical security policies, procedures, and comprehensive documentation.
  

Requirements

• 7 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
  
• hands-on experience with Fortinet NDR and Cisco ISE in enterprise level environments.
  
• Strong command of core networking protocols, routing/switching, and the unique challenges of a telco infrastructure.
  
• Practical experience with security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms, and endpoint protection solutions.
  
• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, CISSP, or CEH are highly valued.
