Join a leading technology organisation as a Lead Network Engineer, working on a mission-critical, nation-wide network. You’ll be part of the production team responsible for an enterprise-level Network Management System (NMS) and IT Service Management (ITSM) solution, integrating and maintaining COTS-based Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operational Support Systems (OSS).

In this role, you’ll install, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance NMS applications, contribute to Disaster Recovery Plans, and ensure seamless service ordering, fulfillment, and assurance. You’ll work closely with vendors and engineering teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing systems.

Required Skills:

• 4-6 years of experience with Red Hat Linux Administration or Engineering
• 2-4 years of experience with Windows Administration or Engineering
• Hands-on experience deploying, configuring, and integrating enterprise-class COTS solutions such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Riverbed, LogicMonitor, Netbox, Infoblox, etc.
• Proficiency in managing network management systems within virtualized environments on MS Windows and Linux servers
• Strong ability to configure and implement monitoring tools that correlate alarms and alerts with business and technical services
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues
• Effective communication skills for working directly with vendor partners for root cause analysis and corrective actions

Nice to Have Skills:

• Knowledge of network protocols and routing
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with APIs and integrating various network management tools
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices within network environments

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience working in enterprise IT or telecommunications environments
• Proven track record of managing and supporting network management systems in a 24/7 operational environment

Other Requirements:

• This position is performed 100% onsite, requiring physical presence at the designated location
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
