About Choices Flooring Fortitude Valley: Choices Flooring is a leading name in floor coverings across Australia. At our Fortitude Valley store, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and a wide range of quality flooring solutions. We're looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our team and manage our warehouse operations, ensuring our installers have everything they need, when they need it.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Preparation: Precisely preparing and staging flooring materials and associated items for upcoming installations.

Deliveries Management: Efficiently taking delivery of incoming stock, verifying orders, and ensuring correct storage.

Stock Management: Implementing and maintaining organised stock systems, including accurate inventory counts and appropriate storage solutions.

System Updates: Regularly updating our operating system and installation calendar with current stock status and availability.

Stock Monitoring: Proactively monitoring and tracking stock arrival times to anticipate and resolve potential delays.

Warehouse Consumables Ordering: Managing the ordering of essential warehouse supplies, including trims, glues, underlays, and other installation consumables.

Carpet Cutting: Operating a carpet cutting machine to precisely cut materials to job specifications (training provided).

Customer confirmation & associated admin: Confirming installation dates with customer and preparing associated paperwork

Essential Skills & Experience:

Current Forklift Licence and Proven Experience: This is a mandatory requirement. Please do not apply if you do not hold a valid forklift licence and have practical experience.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency with computer systems for data entry and record-keeping.

Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team.

Excellent communication skills.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.

A proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities.
